Clem Macleod is a London‑based publisher, editor, and writer. She is the founder and editor of Worms Magazine, a literary magazine that began as her final project while studying Fashion Journalism at Central Saint Martins in 2019. Worms has grown into a multi‑platform project: it includes not just the magazine, but also workshops, a podcast, an online platform, and book publishing.
Her editorial focus is on amplifying underrepresented voices — originally female and non‑binary writers, and more broadly writers from marginalised backgrounds. In addition to her work publishing, Clem writes essays, profiles, and criticism for outlets such as Flash Art, The Rumpus, AnOther, and babaà. She is also co‑founder of The Compost Library, a social enterprise linked with Worms, intended to make reading, writing, and literary community more accessible.
